I am testing the sager driver again, but from sager.
It seems that 174.31 is the best by far.
best 3dmark score and best frames ps. -
Where do i get that one ?
-
Thanks man
Is it a simple install or do I have to do anything special to install them.
I know its a newbie question. -
Get the driver then the modded info.
Extract the driver into a folder, then overwrite the modded info.
After that , uninstall previous drivers, reboot in safe mode, use Driver Cleaner to remove left-overs and after that install the new driver.
If it doesn`t work, use the "have disk method". It`s on the forum also. -
Thanks
I figured I had to do something like that. -
Drivers wouldn't installed .... it goes through the whole process and then reboots ,,, and its still looking for drivers.....
-
Yes,it searches them again.
That`s why:
1) Uninstall previos video drivers(go to device manager, uninstal the 8800M GTX dispay driver
2)reboot IN SAFE MODE
3) Use driver sweeper to clean the leftover drivers
4) instal new drivers. -
alright I'll try again... I know I did it right becuase I got my old ones back on with no problems
-
The one I downloaded said dell next to them on laptopvideo2go
Does that matter..
Sorry for being a pain -
Na dude, it means it fully supports the Dell laptops.
It`s a pain to see so many drivers and not just one that can do the job.
Ignore that ,it should work on any laptop as long as you install it properly. -
Now; if I can only read Chinese..

This link was provided by GanGsta in another thread. They are 174.31 for XP with the modified inf file. They work fine on mine, with stock clocks. No problem installing them.
Hey DEXGO. What driver did you find to be the best ?
