So I had Sager send me a disc with the 1.00.008s BIOS On it.

Just went through and installed it... after it was done it said hit any key to restart, or if it doesnt restart turn the power off and on.

So it didnt restart when I hit a key so I had to turn it on and off... When the computer restarted, Windows started downloading some "drivers" or something for like ATA Serial stuff or something I dont know? Is that ok?

Also take a look at the pic, before I updated the BIOS next to KBC/EC Firmware Revision it didnt have those ??'s I think it was 7s.

Is that all ok does it look ok? and what is .08SL? I thought it was just .08s?

If it looks ok, my next step is to try new GFX drivers!

Reboot your comp go into your bios and click err something like advanced information or something on bootup to give you the post1 page. That will show you your bios and your KBC/EC revisions.

Try reflashing the KBC firmware now that you have the new bios on there

Well even with the updated firmware you still have the auto, which is by default what is enabled when you boot up the computer. It is your option to enter High speed, fn+1, or med fn+3 from auto if you dont like auto. Just gives you more options.

The latest one on the website.. its an iso file burn to a cd/dvd and restart your computer to boot from HD and then just follow instructions on the screen. You will hear a LOUD beep at the end.
