    I'm a little bored, my p150em it's on 72 celsius degrees just for being here on the forum... and sometimes it's like 90 when i'm playing...

    I changed the cpu and gpu thermal paste in to a thermaltake one. I cleaned the fans with air... but the problem isn't gone

    The sound of the fans makes me crazy and I just want to throw this I%$# to the floor!!

    Any solution please??

    Thanks

    UFFF!! I have the same laptop with the same settings, but my cpu never goes beyond 75-80ºC, only my gpu has reached 90ºC (temp room around 30ºC) but I´ve solved it getting down the game setting and enabling v-sync, surpisingly it helds the gpu around 80ºC.
    Have you tried the foil mod???? Could be normal that playing the gpu reaches 90ºC, but the cpu in idle is on 70ºC isn´t normal.

    My suggeston, repaste and change the thermal pad of the gpu ram and apply the foil mod.

    Good luck

    First of all, you ought to use as better as possible thermal pastes:

    Thermal paste:
    -Arctic Silver 5 (I use this);
    -MX-4;
    -IC Diamond;

    The second is thermal pads:
    -Fujipoly/ModRight Extreme Thermal Pads (1.0mm 11W/mk) (I use this);

    And of course you have to apply thermal paste on your chips correctly - as thin layer as possible. Everything, considering laptop cooling, is as standard - best thermal pastes, thermal pads, adding a cooper radiators to heated elements, drilling additional holes in covers, changing fans, adding water cooling... :D

    Thanks I didn't know about that foil mod, I'll use it :D

    I re pasted with Thermaltake paste maybe it's not too thin, i will try to get the arctic paste or the ic diamond (that was the paste that my p150em had for stock)
    Do u have any link for that fujipoly/modright extreme termal pads? i'm searching at youtube but can't find any p150em video
    The thermal pad is a replacement for the thermal paste? u have to use it same as paste?

    MX-4 is total garbage, after only 30 hours of gaming temps were 3C higher already. Right now I'm using Gelid GC Extreme and it seems to be holding up just fine, with the added advantage that it's much easier (and quicker) to clean than MX-4, as it doesn't spill everywhere and end up in crevices like MX-4 does.

    I used the TG-4 maybe is the same garbage. I really need another termal paste and i'll do the foil mode too.

    Thanks

    Yeah definitely do the foil mod, and I can recommend the Gelid GC Extreme for now.

    Thanks man, the problem is that here where I live, there's no place to buy that paste, i just can get the arctic silver 5, reading some reviews says that is a good thermal paste and better than the tg-4 that i used. Will it works fine?

    I've been using IC Diamond for a long time, seems to work, so I can recommend it. :thumbsup:

    If pasting wont fix 70C idle temps then there is a chance your heatsinks are damaged.

    I use these thermal pads. If chips are very close to heatsink, than you can buy 0.5mm thick instead of 1.0mm.

    Nice, but they do tend to be a little overkill.
