What resolution did you run this at, and what is your notebooks?
-
Forgot about that..
Sager NP9261/ Clevo D901C
q6700 cpu
2 x 8700 512MB SLI
4GB 800mhz Memory
3 x 160 GB 7200RPM SATA 300 Drives in Raid 0
Windows Vista 64bit SP1 RC
Joe -
That is quite the laptop.
Did you run the test at 1024 x 1280 resolution? -
Nope, the score is at the default... 1280 x 1024
I would score much higher at 1024 x 1280
Joe -
I just noticed... Did you mean 1024 x 768?
Joe -
I think you meant 1280 x 1024... not 1024 x 1280...
I was thinking that you meant 1024 x 768....
Joe -
Yup, I mixed them around.
Well, if you ran at default resolutions, that is a pretty insane score! -
its too bad your score covers the resolution section of 3dMark06(in the screenshot). and since you have the pro version, that means it could be changed.
if you can, could you please post the Futuremark ORB upload of the score?
then i would be throughly impressed. -
Here's at 1024 x 768...
Ill have to do it again and Ill post up to there site.

Here's the new one at 1280 x 1024 with it showing the resolution...
I am not sure what you mean by Futuremark ORB.. Can you explain...
I'll keep it open so I can do it the way you want me to, to prove it..

the "compare" link, otherwise people can just steal your score -
Man your killing me...
I didn't realize I was using a hacked copy of professinal edition...
I am uninstalling and installing a new copy of one of the lower editions..
Otherwise it won't let me sign up....
Give me a day and I will have to rerun and post again....
Joe -
hey is there a better benchmarking program that I should use?
Hows the PCMARK Vantage?
Joe -
I just installed the basic version...
and I actually got a better score....
Here's the latest score...

great score Joe
hey have u played any games, OCed, u know for a long time.
whats ur temps?
i have been playing crysis for hours at a time with mine at
core= 756
sadder= 1512
mem= 951
it plays well, with no problems and i don't have to turn fans on max. well i did have one glitch after playing for 2 hrs and the graphic (screen) started to flash so i saved the game and restarted it and no problems since
my temps stay at about 78c to 80c and the other at 68c to 70c -
Using the 169.04 driver...
Played crysis like this for a couple hours on max fans...
My computer is always running with max fans..
The hotest a graphic card got was 70 degrees....
What settings are you using in crysis???
I still haven't found the perfect setting yet...
Anybody have any recommendations?
Joe -
Here's an update..
The Crysis settings I have been using are:
1280 x 1024 with everything on high.
Runs just perfectly like this.....
I will be trying to mess with some setting on Very high to get more detail to see how it will run....
What are other people using?
Joe -
Hey steponz have they fixed the SLI with Crysis yet? I am hoping my copy will show up next week. Maybe??
-
Not sure I know which issue you are talking about...
Let me know...
I should actually start a thread to see what everybody is using...
Joe -
The issue is that at higher resolutions Crysis is not working with SLI. If you play at lower resolutions you will not notice it. There is supposidly a patch coming to 'enhance' SLI with Crysis. The new Nvidia drivers .17 up have the 2nd part of the problem fix.
-
Interesting good to know...
Has anybody tried the .17 drivers with the 8700's?
Joe -
I'm using 169.21 atm and there's not much of a difference...maybe an fps or two. Without the crysis patch ofcourse.
With the 13's and 17's I couldn't OC for some reason, and 13 was jittery in Crysis for me.
Hit over the 11000 mark in 3DMark2006 8700 SLI
