I apologize if this poll has already been taken but I could not find it. Only a little bit of info here or there. NP5165 is still on my list of laptops to consider, but the big question is battery life.

Thanks for posting on battery life if you own an NP5165 or W150HR.

For what it is worth my roommate owns one and claims to get just over 3 hours with everything turned pretty low.

lulz. Temps were running high. Probably just a bad paste job, but not willing to risk a return so soon yet. Once I know it's working 100% then I'll go in and do my own paste job. Others were seeing < 80C CPU < 75C GPU at peak load. I was getting 95C CPU and 80C GPU and think there was some thermal throttling going on too. Everything else about it was perfectly fine though. The screen is actually really nice as is the rest of the build.

i haven't been here much lately but if i remember correctly the 5165/555m comes with a 120w adapter whereas the 5160/540m comes with 90w. and i usually just use IGP. if i needed a graphics card more often i definitely would've got an 8130/50. the IGP actually does pretty decent though. i can watch blu rays and haven't had any problems whatsoever even with all the stuff i have running in the background. and that's hdmi'ing it out too.
