Hi guys ! I'm here to share what I did to solve the problem , it might help someone else...

Backlight bleeding was really bothering me. I changed 2 displays but without success. While disassembling the front cover I noticed that the bleeding was absent or barely visible. Looking closer I found out that the problem was caused by the front cover pressing against the panel not perfectly aligned with the metal frame that keeps the display in place. I came up with the idea of using some glue pads (they r removable and they dont leave any residue) applied to the back of the panel just as shown in the pic. The pads stick to the back cover and keep the panel perfectly aligned to the metal frame, this way assembling the front cover no longer produces the pressure that was applied before, thus solving the backlight bleeding problem.

We've done the same with thin padding, the results have been hit or miss (haven't tried the glue pads yet). Glad this worked for you!

I think the glue pads might be better cause u can just model them with your fingers (turn them into small balls, just to give an idea of what I mean) and when applied , they will fill the gap between the panel and the back cover and keep the display in the right place
