I really don't know what happened, but no matter what I try, uninstalling, reinstalling drivers (over and over), changing to the 7970m (clevo p150em) never seems to work, i've tried to old drivers that came with the laptop, and the previously working pop up to assign graphics cards no longer work, the settings just don't stick.

So what i'm left with is a laptop that will refuse to run newly installed games, my older games i've had on it for a while still work, stalker CS runs great, as does skyrim and new vegas, anything new, nope.

I installed the 12.8 drivers hoping for a magic fix, but there's nothing, I can't select gpus in the control centre.

When you right click the desktop is there an option to configure switchable graphics?

Odd. Have you tried completely removing the driver and using driver sweeper before reinstalling?

Not used driver sweeper yet, i'll give that a go.

What is the install order you recommend when reinstalling all this piece of crap?

If I run it? I don't know, never used that before, but this is a result from one of the test.

GPU load and GPU temp never increase though, so I assume it's still not using the amd card.

Update, running driver sweeper worked great after uninstalling, I was then able to just install the 12.8 mobility drivers, which are working fine now, thanks guys.
