I recently picked up a Sager NP9130 last week and I would like to know how often should I check for driver updates? When I received my laptop, the Sager representative told me that the laptop shipped with the current drivers at the time. I know I can (hopefully) find the drivers at sagernotebooks.com. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, first of all. :)

As for your drivers, there's really no set interval of time to check, as video drivers are generally the only ones that get updates more aggressively to combat all the development bugs with modern games and other heavy 3D rendering programs. Good rule of thumb is to check once every month or two for most of your drivers (or when you start experiencing a problem :p).

In the end, you can never check too often. :)

Thanks for the quick reply. Speaking of graphic drivers, where should I get the latest geforce drivers? I spoke to someone at Sager and they said I should get drivers for my gtx 670mx from the Sager website. However, I noticed those drivers are outdated. Currently I'm on 306.97 and the latest drivers are 310.70. Any help would be appreciated.

Everyone has posted good information, a general rule of thumb is to not update unless you are having low performance or stability problems, try and update only one driver at a time and make sure it is working properly, this makes it easy to diagnose any issues.
