    How do I turn raid off on a NP9860

    I do not have the need for raid, I would love to turn raid off but I cant figure out how, I can remove one hard drive and the xp still boots up, but if I remove the other one then it cant find operating system. So it seems that my data is all on one hard drive. I have looked thru the motherboard bios but there is no option to turn raid off. Pls help thanks.

    there is an option that says ATA or RAID Mode Select.

    Just choose ATA mode.
