How do i deal with the wait? my new p150em was slightly delayed.

I ordered a Pollux 1612 from mythlogic on September 4. It was going OK but now I just got word the ram was bad. They will switch it out, I've been delayed till Tuesday. I am happy with mythlogic, I mean this is the exact reason I went with these guys. I wanted them to check the system and test it before they ship it. So on that front I'm happy, but man, I feel like I can't wait any longer. I want my computer now. Ahhhhhhh!!

 

the more you wait the better it will be when you get it

 

1. Look at my lovely benchmarks lol.
2. Wire up a custom power brick.
3. Print a picture of the screen and then of the keyboard, stick the screen to the wall and keyboard to the desk......

I'm in the same boat you are. Ordered from Mythlogic and my system is still "summoning" so I have a ways to go. I try to keep my mind off of it but its hard. I find I come here to read up things and also browse steam, amazon etc. for games I'm going to play when it gets here. I've already bought 2 games a mouse, mouse pad, and cooler doing this. This waiting is getting expensive...

 

lol I'm the same way. I've gotten a cooler master ergostand, razer deathadder, and way too many games on steam while waiting on my NP9150.

 

Ahh, someone like me , I have bought borderlands 2 and torchlight 2 and they are waiting for download on steam. I read up on games and stuff but inside I am going insane. I don't have another Computer, just this tablet I am posting on now.

 

I know that must be driving you nuts! fortunately I have my np6165 while I wait, but I'm dying to get my hands on the 9150 lol. I hope your laptop ships soon man!

 

The only way to cope with such things in future is to make sure you have a backup, for example the W11OER. Get yourself one of those.

 

Out of curiosity what type of builds did you guys order? My payment will be arriving there today so I'm curious how long it will take before my build actually starts.

 

did you order from mythologic? I'm not sure how their shipping times compare, but I ordered from Xotic. The 1st laptop I got from them took 9 days. They said the build time would be 3-10 days, but it was only 2. It took 3 days to get from Sager in Cali to my house in South Carolina. My NP9150 just entered phase 2 (building) today; I hope it will be quick like last time. I would be ecstatic if it arrived by Friday or Saturday

 

Yes, I ordered from Mythlogic. I like the guys there, the service they offer, and the fact they are a builder instead of a reseller. If I have a warranty issue, they take care of it instead of me shipping it off to Sager.

I noticed someone earlier mentioned them, so I thought I would inquire what they ordered to see if there would possibly be any delay with my build too. I'd rather have them delay it and ship it to me once then send it to me quick and have to send the sucker back though!

 

No doubt man, I've heard good things about Mythlogic and I'm sure you won't have to send it back for an RMA. Can't say about the shipping times, though. I doubt it'll take too long, aside from the unlikely chance there's a bad part or something. I'm sure they'd be able to give you an answer if you emailed/called. Good luck man, I hope you enjoy it!

 

I already feel like any moment they are going to mail me a tube of preporation H, if you get what I mean.

I'll be giving them a few days of rest. Again, I was just curious what the guy in this thread had ordered.

 

Lol I know what you mean, sorry I couldnt be more helpful. At least you wont have to wait a month like me, I upgraded to the 675mx and it isnt out until the end of this month. It's gonna be a killer wait.
