I have never used mine since I don't have a password for Windows Login. Is there anything else this can be used for? How do you use yours?

I stopped using password logon in Windows a long time ago. The fingerprint sensor is just so convenient that I don't see myself going back to passwords unless my sensor goes bad.
On my older Clevo I also used my fingerprint sensor to launch apps. Different fingers caused different apps to launch. Didn't really used that feature a whole lot back then but was cool to have. I think you can also encrypt files so that they can only be accessed by you but that is risky as these sensors are not of the highest quality and can go bad any time, leaving you locked out of your precious files. I don't use that feature either.

    Windows 10:

    Start>Settings>Accounts>Sign-in Options

Normally that's where the option is, but I don't have it. I even have the drivers installed.

Honestly, I don't. I just use my semi-complex Windows password.

It's secure and convenient for securing a local OS account. I'm not sure how effective it has proven for much else outside of that.
