Specifically for the Sager NP2650 ?

I ask because I plan on keeping a laptop I buy for a long time, most other brands battery can be bought cheaply on eBay .

Also, are the optical drives easily replaceable on Sagers ? Or do they require a specific caddy ( the 50$ one ), can I buy a generic one ?

About $95 for a replacement OEM battery. It's generally advised you stick with OEM replacements as well, instead of a cheaper aftermarket replacement.

Caddies are generally either 12.7mm or 9.5mm, but either should fit in the optical drive bay. You'll just need to choose between the two dimensions options based off of the drive you want to put in it (make sure you get the right connection interface also; they come in pATA and sATA).

It always helps to get a second opinion too, so don't hesitate to ask someone at Sager before you pull the trigger on the caddy!
