(I am aware I wrote MU570 instead of M570RU, tired and late and I forgot what I was typing :p)

If I'm playing, it goes up to

    57ºCHD
    58 C GPU
    35-45 C on the CPU

I want to know if that is abnormally hot or not?

I havent been able to buy a lapcooler yet
(Anyone know if these are good? -
    http://quadcooler.com/products/coolers/tricooler.htm
    http://quadcooler.com/products/coolers/big_brian.htm?bb_index.htm)

    Compared to the Zalman?

    How about these?
My girlfriend uses this, and will give it to me if I want it for my laptop because she uses a desktop now - http://crave.cnet.com/Antec_Notebook_Cooler/4505-3001_7-30634900.html

And I read from some review that this one is the best out of the 10 they reviewed -
    http://reviews.cnet.com/notebook-accessories/xpad-laptop-desk/4505-6459_7-32327302.html

So far, here is my healing contraption (See attachment pic) - then I have a fan to the side, it knocks off about 10ºC from my HD, but it doesnt do much for my CPU or the GPU. (Yea sorry my pic is so bad, I used my sound recorder that I use for audio lectures to take the pic)

    temps seems perfectly fine.

The Zalman is still the best at the moment. Although the new Cooler Master Infinite looks to have the same idea... but is gimmicky.

The one from your girlfriend is actually the one I'm using right now... I bought mine last year for my old 15.4" laptop and was surprised to find my new 17" fits on it perfectly. It definitely does the job of keeping mine cooler and make the fans less noisier. I didn't measure the actual temperature but while gaming I can feel the difference with my hands when using the Antec Notebook Cooler or not. But then again the other notebook coolers such as the Zalman one probably will keep the notebook cooler than the Antec one since the Antec one is designed for 15.4"... Even though there are some people on the web that says the Antec is not good for 17" so far I'm happy with it. :)

hmm, i noticed you had a fourth peg in the back where the battery is (I took my battery out to help its lifetime, so I am missing that rubber)... Would it still work without the rubber peg in the back battery slot?

hmm... The notebook will be alright there if you don't touch it. But when you're using it it may become unstable ("rocking" back and forth), which isn't too good. You can leave the battery in there and just make sure to unplug the power once a while within 24 hours (which is what I'm doing right now) then your battery probably won't die too fast...

Or you can use the below method suggested by Joga.

Do you guys laptop's right side (under the arrow keys) warm up pretty good? Cause mine warms up, it doesnt burn or anything but its pretty warm.

also ive read alot of the other guys posts and everybody has a different fan running time.....whats up with that? my second fan runs every minute once for like 40 sec. then stops.
