I currently have the D901C, yeah, I know it's old. But, I've had it for 5 years. It's been good to me, but it's time to upgrade. The question I have is that the original webcam was a "Buffalo" that did NOT have any Linux drivers for the webcam. So, how is the Clevo P370 with running Ubuntu? Are there devices that will not work under Linux? Specifically, the web cam. What webcam is being used and is there a Linux driver for it?
Thanks.
Note: How much could I get for a used D901C with minor wear?

I believe the webcam manufacturer is either Clevo or Bison. As far as Linux support, I'm not positive on whether there is a Linux driver for it or not. The good ol' open source community may know, though: Linux Forums

When we put Ubuntu on our laptops the camera is just a USB camera that is supported by the standard drivers, we always got the camera working out of the box.

I'm sorry if I'm going off on a tangent, but I need to make this decision quick.
Edit: Forget the Graphics question. A little googling revealed that nVidia drivers are better under Linux. I don't care which one performs better if they aren't stable and reliable. -
