How long? Those who ordered...

From Malibal for the credit card verification to go through from ordering? I ordered on the 27th but only one of my cards has been charged I'm paying with 2 cards if that matters.

I ordered from Malibal on 11/29. I don't recall the verification taking more than a business day. I recommend sending a message to the a Malibal rep on these boards directly or opening a live chat during their normal hours tomorrow. They're generally very responsive.

 

Verification usually takes 1-2 days. If there is an issue, we will contact the customer.

 

My CC was verified within hours and was marked as "paid" in a day.
also got an ETA of Jan 3th for my laptop to be shipped out.

I will see how it goes.

Placed order on 26th.

 

Ordered on the 22nd, had the holidays right in there.... Said 5-7 Business days to ship it out on day 4 now waiting for the shipping confirm. I assume it will go out next Monday prob, hoping to get it by mid week next week because I sold my current laptop today and am therefore computer"less" until my new Malibal arrives.

My rush order took a day to assemble and was shipped out on 2nd day. Might be worth the extra 50 if you want your laptop fast(er).

 

Ordered my laptop on the 26th with rush processing, got a shipping confirmation on the 30th and a scheduled delivery on the 3rd.

 

3 days......

 

3 days here too, im thinking if i shouldve went with malibal since they have a building at las vegas, nevada. I am having my laptop shipped to neberaska in order to avoid California taxes.... + another week probs...

 

Is the additional $50 for a faster build and shipping or just bumps you up in the building queue?

I ordered on the 22nd, no rush though, and still haven't gotten anything....

 

I'm a bit disappointed with my order. My order technically came through in the time frame they state, but I asked if it would arrive earlier and they said it would probably get here in time. It's not their fault though, I just wish I was told, I would have payed rush processing.

Prior to ordering from Malibal, I called a customer service rep on the 19th and had a long talk, but the important point from that is that he said if I ordered 19th or 20th, the laptop would arrive by the time I needed it no problem (Jan 3rd), since it will be 5-7 processing and usually 2 days for shipping ground from NV or air from NY. I will be leaving on the 4th out of country for a month, then move back but into another state.

The day of the order on the 20th, I asked a rep again online prior to ordering, they said the same, sure it would arrive by the 3rd. So I went through with it.
So I ordered that day. I processed a wire transfer the same day and informed Malibal, but the bank didn't process it until the next day, 21st.

So my order confirmation went through, but of course we have these holidays. It shipped on the 30th, but another weekend (urgggh business days). I expected it to arrive in 2 business days, which I thought meant Tuesday (erm today). The package is currently in Kentucky and i'm in Cali. Needless to say, I don't expect it today. If I'm lucky, I'll get it on the 4th before I leave for my flight. Even then, I needed time to install and set up software, which is going to take a few hours at least to download into the hard drive.

If it doesn't arrive in time, I'm going to have to have someone here reship it for an additional cost. Would have been a lot more convenient had a Malibal rep told me to rush processing. And I probably would have saved money since shipping the laptop to where I'll be (hawaii) won't exactly be cheap.

 

I ordered on Dec. 21 and it is currently in my state according to UPS, so it will be here today, scheduled delivery is by the end of the day.

 

At least yours has shipped....ordered 22nd still no shipping confirm hoping out goes out today...

 

The laptop is worth the wait for me because i know im getting a high quality kick butt laptop=)

 

Just got told today they are going to ship it on Thursday... how long does shipping take? Was really hoping to get it prior to weekend...

 

Not sure, but MALIBAL Agent told me it ships out from either Nevada or New York

 

If you got the tracking, call UPS and ask for a early day delivery and explain your situation. Get some $ to tip the driver.

 

Also, mine just shipped 2 hours ago. Still not sure if they have handed in the package to UPS, because this information (shipping label) can be obtained electronically.

My order was 4 days delayed and Malibal didn't compensate anything. Not even a good reason for the delay.

 

A 4 day delay isn't too bad, but we did tell you that we gave you a FREE $50 Upgrade on the order - so I'm not sure why you said that. And we also told you the reason for the delay.

 

Oh good, I think they do 2 day shipping right? So if it ships Thursday (day 1) Delivery Friday (day 2)?? So maybe if its in NY it will just take a day to get up to where I am. Plus I know the UPS guy for my town, so maybe I can get em to help me out.

Yea man, I live in NY too. I heard it takes two days at most within same state. Yes, they deliver on Saturdays. But bro, I doubt Malibal will ship yours Thursday (because they promised me the same thing last week).

I think by North, he meant there are no states directly above NY. Technically, Alaska is the most Northern State, but if someone said there are no states North of Montana, you kind of know what they mean.

 

I r so confused!! VT, ME, NH, AK all def. north of NY, To get to MA, RI, CT, from NY NY you need to drive North. Who counts upstate NY for reaaalllzzzzz

4 "business days" delay is bad enough for some customers. I ordered it before the vacation so I can play around with it, but you guys shipped after everything was over. Not entirely your fault, but the delay was unjustified.

The reason for the delay is so vague and shady. The only thing you told me was that the laptop is being tested. The same reason I was being told for 2-3 days without going in much details.

 

Told me probably Tomorrow, unless something goes wrong in testing...fingers are crossed!!!

 

Technically they are EAST of NY. North of NY is Canada and one of the great lakes, lol.

 

I ordered mine on the 20th from reflexnotebooks, no rush and am still waiting. Sadly I need this for school and it starts up next week....

LOL! The P180HM I bought yesterday shipped before the day was up. Ill have it on Monday. Though I have to say I didnt buy through one of the common resellers(Malibal never paid me any attn to the PM's I sent here, so I looked elsewhere)and mine came stripped down with no HD,RAM or OP system.

So it's in testing I'm hoping I'll get an email tomorrow while I'm at school that it will ship *fingers crossed*

 

i've been waiting for 8 days now..just talked to someone on their live chat today and he told me that they are backed up on p151hm1 shells..so i chose the p150hm shell. This means they haven`t started building my laptop......

 

So the case is out of stock?

 

the shell itself it out of stock..not the carrying case ( just in case it wasn`t clear)

 

Did they tell you a time frame of when they would be back in stock? Because I talked to a live agent yesterday they didn't tell me about any delay on my order said it was in the testing phase but I haven't received an email yet on shipping.

 

they offered me to choose a p150hm shell instead and thats what i did.
It`s kinda hard to get straight answers from those guys...

 

whats the difference in the shells? if you know off hand?
