    My Sager N9750 has been with me for 1.5 years
    I got it at the end of 2005 (around december)

    I just want to know how long it will last 'usually'
    before you have to upgrade just to play the latest game?

    I mean.....
    I remembered changing laptops from 2000-2004 during my college times.
    2000 -> toshiba satellite (forgot)
    2001 -> toshiba tecra T10
    2002 -> toshiba satellite E30
    2003 -> toshiba satellite (forgot)

    and after that
    2005 -> Sager N9750

    Only because i wanted to play the latest game *sigh*
    but yeah, I know that all the newer games requires highly powered graphic cards and stuff. Im just glad that even after 1.5 years, my Sager is still able to play command & conquer 3 smoothly, but i just dont know how long it will last.

    It will be ok until most games that are released are DX10 only. You will most likely have to drop down to low-med settings though.
