    Just ordered my sager 9170 from xoticpc.com and just got the payment info sorted out. So how long will I be waiting for this to arrive? Classes start August 20th... hopefully before then?

    TBH The estimated dates for me were 3~4 weeks but in truth from what I counted it only took them 12 days and that's from start time to arrival.

    Sager computers have been quoted at 7-12 but they have been going out quicker then that, they've made good headway after the 7970M back order from a few weeks back that delayed alot of orders

    I'm on day 7 so far and I'm still waiting. Still in Phase 2 (Sent for Custom Building / Testing / Burn In & Final QA)

    I ordered on 6/6 and went into Phase 2 on 6/29 and Phase 3 on 7/19. There was a big backlog of 7970 orders but not sure why it took that long. It seems to be kind of random so I don't think you can really predict how long it will take. Not too big a deal as long as everything is 100% when I get it. Unfortunately I won't be receiving it until shortly before I head back to Afghanistan so if it needs any sort of repair I will have to return it instead of repair it due to the USPS lithium battery ban.

    It also depends whether its coming to you straight from sager or if it has to stop off at Xotic for any options you may have ordered.

    It really shouldn't take more than a month. I wouldn't be worried. I preordered mine, so I got mine faster than usual (10 days after moving to phase 2, shipping included).

    It also depends on where you live.

    Does that 10 days include weekends, or just "business days"?

    Just found out that my delivery date is set for July 25, so that makes 13 days total for delivery, including weekends.

    I just went into Phase 2 yesterday so I'm certainly not expecting to hear anything until late next week at the earliest, though of course I will keep some hope alive that it'll be sooner than that. :D
