I was wondering how many watts the sager np8150 pulls from the wall with the i7 and 6970m gpu.

How long does the battery last just browsing the web?

Does it use a 6 cell or 4 cell battery. I'm really hoping battery life is around 3 hours.

How big is the default power supply for the np8150?

Should the default power supply be upgraded if you plan to do a lot of ocing and possible attempts at world-record-breaking laptop benchmarks?

Oh and how are idle/load temps on the cpu and gpu?

Interested in an upgrade which is why I ask. Thanks guys.

Power supply is the 180W. That's more than enough for a notebook which lacks CPU overclocking.

Although did you see the results from Tom's Hardware? The GTX 485m machine drew 170W. I know that's measured from the wall, but even so, with inefficiencies you're talking close to 150W true.

I'm not sure how they measure AC adapter power though if it's just VA or true watts? My NP8170 AC adapter is 19V x 11.57A ~ 220W

    edit: Nevermind, I see the 8150 PSU is 19v x 9.47 ~ 180W

The W870CU uses a 120 watt. I'd like to decipher the true wattage differences if possible. Does the 5870m require that much less power than the 6970m? I know the 6970m is far greater than the 5870m, so I suppose this would make sense.
