That's a sweet config. I love the processor. However, if this machine is for gaming, I dont think it will help too much.
Moreover, change the HDD to 320gb 54000rpm for more storage, same price and same speed.
The price is the same with other vendors such as xoticpc.
    Gud luck.

P9600 is more than enough for gaming. GTA 4 is just a crap game that needs to be coded properly and shouldn't be given the time of day by anyone....is all. :)

I am thinking of purchasing this configuration within the next month from XOTIC PC:

    Sager NP8662
    15.4" 1920x1200 WUXGA+ w/ nVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M w/ 1 GB DDR3
    Intel P9600 25W 2.66 GHz processor w/ 6MB L2 Cache
    4GB (2 SODIMMS) DDR3/1066 Dual Channel Memory
320 GB SATA II 7200 RPM HD
    Combo 8x8x6x4x Dual Layer DVD +/-R/RW 5x DVD-RAM 24x CD-R/RW Drive
Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit)
    3 Year Warranty

For a total of $2195 at the current prices with shipping included and no cash discount.

Though I'm not sure if I should move up to a Q9000 or not - but I've still got a week or two before I order to think about it.

Which could be done at a billion websites, right? Its not like someone got an amazing deal or something, one which could have not been found on a website. And if they did, who cares? Is that company offering that now? No. This thread has no useful value...
