    How much do you guys think its going to cost for two NVIDIA 8800M SLI? I hope its less then $1000.

    well I'd say it's gonna be at least $500 per card..with $600-650 sounding more like the real price of single 8800M GTX, so total would be at least $1k

    ..however, you can always sell your 8700M GT's to get some of it back ;)

    Ya I kinda figure that its going to cost that much going to save up again one more pay check and I am ready to spend that much for the card. I think I might save my 8700GT SLI just in case of something bad happen.

    wait...so, the desktop card is about 300.
    and the laptop card is 600!?

    that doesn't add up at all.

    First of all, a name is just a name. A GTX for desktop is not a GTX for laptop.

    Second, the 8800 GTX for desktops I can most certainly say is not $300.

    Third, laptop cards cost more because it needs that more advanced technology to get it down to size and be extremely power efficient. That, and it's more recent.

    The desktop 8800 GTX cards are $500+, depending on which "brand" you buy.

    a part from the price, where on earth are you going to find MXM 8800M GTX's?!

    you realise finding 7900's is hard at the moment..

    If you look hard you can find the 7900's for laptops but it is difficult. Sager will have an upgrade program for those who have purchased one. You just might have to wait a bit. 500-600$ range give or take a little is with in reason for a guess. When you look at the price when ordering your system the second 8700M was about 395$ and the 7950 was 495$ so add at least 100$ and you should be close. Although in my opinion the mobile 8*** cards were cheaper than I first expected. So we shall see.
