    Greetings, everyone!

I have a Falcon NW Fragbook DRX, barely used, that I would like to sell. My question is: what is a reasonable price that I could expect to get for it?

    Here is a spec list:
    -Intel Core2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz 95W
    -2GB 800MHz DDR SO-DIMMS
    -2 Seagate 200GB SATA 7200 RPM Mobile (w RAID1)
    -DVD+-RW Dual Layer Drive 8x
    -802.11N Wireless
    -WUXGA 17" LCD 1920x1200
    -8700GT Go Graphics Module
    -Burgundy Metallic
    -Falcon NW Laptop Backpack

This is a really great laptop, but much more than I need, so I figured someone else could use it more than me. It was listed at $4,551. Obviously I won't get that, but what kind of price should I set it at, and where should I try selling it? Thanks!

I guess you could sell it for 1500, I don't see you selling it for much more than that has you can already get a d901c with a 9800m GTX for around 2000 and also for the fact that the 8700m is part of the defective GPU list...

With 8700GT I think Ayle is right about price.

I'd say 1200 would be more realistic. Just cuz of those 8700s.

Welcome to the NBR forums. :)

those 8700M's is what most people will look at.

This notebook can have up to 8800M or 9800M cards, which would be much more preferable by most prospective buyers.

    Thanks for your help!

I have not heard about problems with the 8700. Is there a good link where I can read about the defective GPUs? What is the top graphics card for this computer right now?

The 9800M GTX is the current top graphics card for this system.
