my 8150 arrived a few days ago and i have installed 64 bit windows 7 , the only problem i've been having is CONSTANT windows not responding error's , when i press ctrl + alt + del it sometimes goes to a black screen and i have to walk away for like 10 minutes for the laptop to recover.
my assumption is that the issue is Hard drive based however im not sure how to proceed.
i've ran CHKDISK and boot time defrag's on both of my hdd's.
does anyone have a checklist of sorts that i could go through to ensure my laptop is in good health ?
i have only had it for 5 cays and the fact im already getting constant freezing and crashed kind of kills its utility for work.

might be worth opening it up to check the ram is seated correctly as sometimes becomes lose in transit.
also if you do get it to boot up fully try HD Tune to check the hard drive.
if youve only had it 5 days though i would get onto sager support -

corrupt system files :< format + Reinstall fixed it.
