    I need to know because my new np2780 does not turn on. It cycles on and off without the screen turning on at all. So someone said to take out he battery and power it up to see if that is affecting anything. So I need help on accessing the battery.

    unscrew those 3 screws and pull the battery out
    or u have to clear cmos......take out the cmos battery about 10 minutes and put it back(under the keyboard)
