    Hi,

I noticed that when I take out the power the proc runs at 2.0 GHz. Is it possible to reproduce the same effect (downlock) without diconnect it from the power source? Sometimes the fans are too noisey.

You can use Notebook Hardware control and it will dynamically clock.

RMclock is what I use to set "Performance on Demand" so that it would stay at 1.0GHz and dynamically clock up when needed.
