    Hi all!
I have from last two weeks a Clevo P170HM. First thing I upgraded my GPU and CPU from 460m GTX and I7 2630m to 675m GTX and I7 2920mx. I upgraded my bios and KBC/EC to latest version. Now I know there is a problem with clevo bios so my 675m gtx can be used in moded drivers only. I done that. Laptop work fine but I decide to be flash vbios from MSI Video Bios Collection | techPowerUp secont top. I succed. Everything was almost fine, Temp on gpu go up to 98C. Because MSI use higher clock and my collers heatsing pads not arrived yet I decide to use slower clock form second bottom nvidia vbios.
Now - message was to I flash succesfull.
I cry after restart my laptop. I brick my card. :(
    I'll try use usb with blind flash ( nvflash -4 -5 -6 -a -y xxx.rom) but nothing happend.
When I just type nvflash -4 -5 -6 xxx.rom I can hear twice beep. After restart screen is blank.

Do you know lads how to enable intel graphics on this laptop please?
I also try disasemble my 8935g and replace my 460m gtx with work fine on this laptop and put that 675m gtx to be reflashing vbios but this time message from nvflash dont see any nvidia adapter - that the message on screen.
    Help - I'm stuck

    Kind Regards
    Tomasz

I'll need someone who has programmer in Ireland or UK to reflash this card with original vbios. Please PM me - I'll pay for that ofcourse. I had backup of original vbios.

    Kind Regards

Make a bootable pendrive with Rufus (use MS-DOS not Free DOS) pull all SSD/HDD and Optical Drives from the system and blind-boot with these files from the USB 2.0 port:

    GTX675M

    PW: biosmods.wordpress.com

EDIT: This is based on the proper Clevo vBIOS, but if your card isn't Clevo then also try and replace the vBIOS file with your backup. Further this vBIOS is undervolted and should fix your heat issues. Oh and we can't use the Intel GPU to get picture on screen as it is physically not connected on the HM-Series.

    Thank you very much Prema,
I'll try your way with Rufus USB and original backup vbios. No change at all. Card is brick.
I really need someone who have programmer. Please PM me.
    Kind Regards
    Tomasz

Are you seriously trying to put a 100W 675M in the 8935G? Or was that just to flash it? If you are getting a display on the HM with the 675M then its working as you would not see anything.

Does the 8935g have a manual switch in the bios to choose the mode between switchable and dedicated? Is it the gm45 chipset?

Have you tried getting a display in the other modes? Switchable should default to the integrated but still power up the dedicated card for access IIRC.

No, I just have two laptops with MXM 3B sockets. I can use switchable mode in my 8935G, laptop can see both graphics card and then flash 460m gtx. That is no problem at all. For some reason 8935g dont rocognise 675m gtx.
I ordered new vbios chip, so my 675m gtx should be fixed soon.

    Kind Regards

Why would you use Acer to flash? Makes no sense. You cans flash on your Clevo, you can flash in even the P series. Its only suckass AMD on P series you can't flash properly...

He is trying to use the Acer to run off its internal GPU so that he can flash the bricked GPU and recover it, the clevo can't be set to do that.

Eh, now i get it. What a mess. Next plan is to solder a new BIOS chip? Good grief. This way definitely can't RMA the card. Sounds like a great plan, when you fail at that, have a worthless brick then.
