    Hi folks!

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

I have a problem... My Clevo M761SUN(P7350, G105 512Mb, 4Gb), only recognizes Realtek default card RTL 8187B as Wifi Card.

There is a BIOS / EC limitation?

If I insert Intel 5300AGN or Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 4GB, nothin happens. Hardware just not detect these cards.

HWinfo32 shows that port are avaliable after I insert Intel cards.

    Incompatibillity?

    Thanks!

Did you try installing the intel wlan utility? (Also, might want to disable the realtec card in device manager).

When i remove Realtek card and insert Intel 5300, Device Manger from Windows shows that isn't a device connected.

If I insert same card in another laptop, it work.

    I can't understand this...

Oh, wow, then if it isn't detected when you right click and hit "Scan for hardware changes," it may be a hardware limitation.

Hmm, i don't think... In their site, Clevo, have the Intel 5300 as optional.

I've seen same models with different BIOS/EC working. Can be problem of the BIOS/EC Wrong?

    I never updated it!

First of all, I think you a refering to the M771 SUN, not the M761 as I am not aware of a M761 SUN model.

As far as I know, in order to get an intel wireless card to work in your laptop you need to have an Intel chipset on the motherboard. The M771 SUN uses a SIS chipset and for this reason, as far as I know, you can't get the Intel 5300 to work on your laptop.

It's a M761SUN that i have. He have this specs:

    Motherboard Model: M7X0SUN
    Motherboard Chipset: SIS 671/672 + 968
    Graphics: NVIDIA G105M 512MB

    Nothing works... only Realtek Card.

My previous model -> M761SU. He have this specs:

    Motherboard Model: M7X0SU
    Motherboard Chipset: SIS 671/672 + 968
    Graphics: NVIDIA 9300GB 256MB

Everything works... and Intel 5300 don't need intel chipset to work. I have an USB to Pci-Express adapter in a laptop with AMD chipset works, and if i insert Intel Card in that AMD, 5300 still works fine and fast.

I think that is something with BIOS or EC, but don't have sure....
