Does anyone know how this can be accomplished? I have switched EFI to non-Windows 8 so now it will boot off my USB stick when I choose UEFI from the boot menu but when I hit install it says it needs a driver. I inserted my driver disk for Windows 7 that came with the machine and it finds the chip set drivers but there are no storage drivers and when I grabbed the latest RAID driver from Intel, it shows it but then when I select it, it says it failed to find any other devices.

What am I doing wrong here? I'd prefer to have Windows 7 in UEFI but I guess I will try legacy boot and report back...

Okay wait... It sees the storage just fine... What driver is it looking for?

Alright, I figured it out. I needed to put my USB key in the esata / USB 2.0 combo port. Totally forgot that 7 doesn't recognize USB3. The install completed but it said it wasn't able to prepare for the next step. Apparently it doesn't want to share Windows 8.1's UEFI so I cleared my RAID and installed 7 first. It's not ideal to have to start over but that is why it's awesome that everything was on my storage drives. I can clear my install any time with minimal impact when I set it back up. Maybe I'll look at imaging options so I never have to do this again.
