    Hey Guys;

    Unlike most other laptops Sager comes with no recovery CD or any software to make one.How do you guys do this?It's very trouble some and time consuming to install windows and then the drivers every time ther's a problem.

    I am trying to get this to work so if ther's a problem I could pop in the DVD and then do a full restore.There are softwares to make image of the drive and others to make bootable CD.But is there any to make a bootable CD which can restore to the current state like other Recovery Cd's?

    Thanks

    Doesn't Vista Ultimate allow for such an image backup that could be saved directly to DVD?

    Yeah if you have Vista Ultimate just go into the Backup and Recovery center and create a disc image onto a DVD or backup drive. If you don't have Ultimate I heard Arconis True Image is one of the best programs you can get for disc imaging.

    Some resellers offer a recovery image CD with their Sagers. You should ask them.

    If you have a seagate drive in your machine you can get there version of acronis for free its called Seagate disc wizard(google it ) :) , or even if you have an external seagate it will work as well as long as its plugged at the time of install .

    The problem you need to install the OS,then drivers and then change the settings every single time.
