    Hello everyone,

I know this might be a bit off topic, but how do you exactly improve the longevity of a laptop's battery? Just got a P650SG days ago, and since the battery is inside the laptop, I can't remove it easily without quite a bit of work removing the screws and the panel.

Should I charge the laptop when the battery goes half way, when it's about to die, or charge it all the time? I want to know your opinions about this. Thanks.

Don't leave the laptop in a hot or cold place for long periods of time and use it normally.

Most newer computers will automatically stop charging once the battery gets full or close to full, to try to prevent over charging and increase the lifespan. There are a good amount of articles that are out there that say stop charging it at about 80%, and run it down to about 20% to get the most out of it. But that is easier said than done.
