    So, I just got a w870cu.
I though it would be compatible with more of my cards. But its not! :(

It seems to be a fan control issue. I updated the BIOS to the latest version. Soon I will try some earlier versions.

I have experienced a similar issue on the Clevo m860tu, where it will not run without the fan and it shuts down with the same blinking lights. I'm sure that the cards are not overheating. In fact, everything works fine on a notebook with 1 fan! (so if its not the exact same error, its cause is different)

Is there any known way to bypass this error?
    Thanks all.

It seems like the card is not supported by the bios.
You can bypass this problem by controlling the fan(s) with HWinfo32

Does HWiNFO32's fan control work for Clevos?

Certain Clevos. I don't think it works for Sandy Bridge. Unless you have the 2920xm.

This is BIOS/EC level guys, I really don't think that kind of software will help.

I think this is happening before windows boots.

Your first post does not, at the time of this writing, have any mention of time before shutting off. To prove, here is your first post quoted.

Please point out to me where in this thread I can read that your machine shuts off within 30-60 seconds? Then, when you're unable to find it, do apologize to simplified for snapping at him and telling him to read the thread first.

    I should have specified, apologies.

Basically the notebook acts like the GPU is overheating. This does not happen in other notebooks and the temp sensors seem to be working.
