My P770DM(-G) is half bricked now, it still can enter Fn+B recovery mode but cannot boot to disk.
I'm going to flash a clevo stock bios to recovery, but I have a few questions
    (1) Shall I use the 8M sized BIN file or 5M one?
    (2) How to rename the bios file so recovery can recognize it?
    (3) Which USB port is the main port for recovery? I have 2 USB3.0 on left and 1 USB3.0 on right and 1 USB/eSATA combo on left.
Is there other software way to flash the bios back?

    Thanks!

You can use AFUDS with a USB stick created with rufus.

also what do you mean with half bricked cannot read disks? Did you flash your BIOS? If so, did you do a load default and then put the settings as they're supposed to be?

    Thanks.
currently the notebook will halt after logo shows. Fn+B reacts but reporting "no bios files found", I made a FAT32 USB flash but seems it requires a specific file name.

I should have run "set optimized option".

Thanks, the problem is not about EC.
It is about how to know the filename that BIOS Recovery requires.

Recovery name depends on the BIOS you flashed on there to cause this?!

That flasher wouldn't even allow you to flash it on a g-sync model... o_O

If what you did is force a non-g to g-sync model, then recovery mode won't let you flash back to the right version.
Try to use an external monitor to reverse it (you may have to disconnect the internal screen).
