Can anyone help me on how to preserve my battery?

I already got 2 laptops and both of them turnout that its battery does not last long.

Now I have a new laptop SAGER 5793 and I was thinking how could I save my battery.

Yeah, the guide is good. Bottom line is that the battery is going to deteriorate over time no matter what you do--that's the nature of li-ion batteries that laptops have.

They have some new batteries coming out in the beginning of next year that will not have any or very little power degradation over three years. They are called the Sonata battery from Boston Power; they have hooked up with HP and you will have the option to get one of the newer batteries for a $20-$30 premium. Not sure when they will be available through other vendors...
