I have a Sager NP9150 with a 680M. When I go into my NVidia control panel, I do not have the Configure Displays tab because of Optimus. I really want to do 2d surround, but because I cannot access this tab, I don't know how to do it. Is there a way to temporarily disable Optimus (I need it for school still).

    Thanks in advance.

Very few makes and models allow for disabling Optimus, and I don't think the NP9150 is one of them (if it's not available to disable within BIOS, then there's no option).

Do you have everything set to high performance? With the latest drivers? To be honest, I don't think a single 680m supports Surround (limitation of the mobile version and the system). You would probably need a SLI configuration for that - but I could be wrong.

I have everything maxed performance-wise, latest drivers and everything. It says in the driver specs that it can support surround. I am pretty sure I can't change it in the BIOS though, so that's great...
