    Hello,

I have never upgraded RAM before and I am planning on adding 2x4GB modules to my Clevo P150HM (I haven't bought it yet - I am buying it tonight) which will already have 2x4GB modules. In the end I will have 16GB of RAM total. Does anyone have any tips? Also where are the two empty RAM slots located? I will be buying from Malibal.

    Thanks,
    Noah

If you order with 2x4GB modules, then they will be preinstalled in the two slots under the keyboard (the harder slots to reach). To install your own two sticks, simply remove the four screws from the main bay on the bottom of the laptop, open the panel, and put your RAM into the two empty slots. Close it all up and off you go :D

an 8150/P150HM. I'm waiting to see how a preorder works out with the 6990, hence the "hopefully."

I have 8GB of RAM sitting around from an impulse Newegg purchase, and a Crucial M4 that will go into it as soon as I receive it. That, and a re-pasting with AC5 when it arrives.

    Just waiting to see when...

The bottom panel slides to the rear after screws are removed.

You are correct, I hope that he doesn't take out two of the four and get too confused as to why it won't open! I maintain that it's tough to count to four in old age and that I just mixed up the component bay with the HDD bay :D

In all seriousness, it's still a super easy install for the end user now that primary RAM is under the keyboard. (Which is more work to get to)
