Was reading a review (P151SM) and noticed that it has a SIM card slot. Has anyone played with it? Where is it wired to? With only one miniPCIe slot in the machine, how should one use the SIM without giving up WiFi/Bluetooth?

Was the review showing a slot, or just a hole where a slot could exist?

I think that's a hold over in the plastic moulding from the HM series which had a card where the mSATA slot is.

this was talked about on 5 year old models and then the sim was dropped and now popped up again.
as far as i can recall you cant just put a phone sim in and it will work.
you have to take a new contract out for it which for some reason is dearer than a phone contract.
as i said this is what it used to be so things could of changed now.

But where are the physical mobile chip and antenna that make a new contract possible?

I can see a SIM slot, just can't find the rest of the necessary hardware.

unless it had to be ordered at build and so there are no antennas there.
supplier will have to answer that one.
