    I don't know but apparently the fingerprint scanner on my 5790 either doesn't work or doesn't have the software... im running vista ultimate x64. Are we supposed to have software? or... what?

    Edit: sorry, supposed to be fingerprint in the title

    you have to have the drivers + software installed
    + TCP must be enabled in the BIOS

    And you must have the actual fingerprint reader chip on your mainboard, which most of the m570ru out there doesnt have because of stock shortage. Unless it was clearly specified that you had fingerprint reader, you might not have it and still have the little metal thing between the touchpad buttons.

    But if you do have a working finger print reader, the CD you got with your computer should include all the necessary drivers and softwares. you might also wanna check clevo's website for up to date drivers.

    Mine worked right out of the box. Didn't need a driver or anything.
