Hey guys, I've I'm considoring buying a Clevo P150EM, the one I'm looking at is pretty powerful with an I7 3720 processor, 16gb of RAM and a 7970m, I do however want to play some pretty intensive games at max settings and I'm worried that in a couple of years the perfomance will be pretty mediocre, I was wondering how upgradable is the laptop in particular the cpu and gpu or whether it'd worth waiting a bit longer so I can afford something with 3930 and a 680 in it, thanks for any help in advance

CPU, GPU, all drives, wifi, RAM and display are all upgradable. Of course it is not certain that future components will be compatible.

As I see a little vBIOS here and there and everything works.

Take in mind that IF we stumble upon a future with a new MXM then we are doomed XD

Ok that's good, I've been reading through some of the owners lounge though and people are saying that the power brick is at its limit with a 680m gtx, are there any more powerful bricks that would fit this laptop?

I wouldn't worry too much about the power brick limit. Most cards max out at 100w TDP.

    Things point towards a 122W 680MX :p

If you are worried about maxing the PSU, then buy a 220W one (some generic manufacturers offer some universal 220W as I last googled).
GTX680MX might be cool, but I think AMD 7990m is also imminent.

I don't believe there are any PSU's > 180W with the single plug design. They're all 4 prong.
