I just recieved my new memory this morning, 2X2GB Kingston HyperX 8500 5-5-5-15

I just have a question...with the old memory I was scoring 5885Mb/s in Sisandra @ 1066 7-7-7-20, with these new sticks I'm scoring 5992Mb/s @ 1066 5-5-5-15. I thought I would see a bigger score increase, is that because the CPU FSB is the same? I thought tighter timings might increase the score some more.

Anyway, it feels much more reponsive :) unless I'm trying to convince myself it is!

    Cheers

In short, you will not see a huge jump in score and FPS in games. While older, take this article:
    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/tight-timings-high-clock-frequencies,1236-10.html
It shows a 1-2% increase in performance on average for tight timings, so little that it doesn't justifty the 50-100% price increase of that kingston sadly. Other articles reveal a similar pattern, though some will show up to five percent.
