    has anyone used a hyperX drive in a p150hm successfully? im considering getting one, but im not sure if it will work or not. any help would be great, thanks.

    Odds are it will work. All ssds should be built to similar standards.

    well the reason i ask is because it uses a sandforce controller, and in the past there have been compatibility issues, but if you say it works then that is good news for me. im not going to get one just yet, im going to wait for a few more oppinions.

    It works in my P180HM. It's my Origin drive though. I use a Crucial M4 for the boot since its been a proven SSD.

    It`s the boot drive on mine....i had not one issue with it! :)

    The Vertex 3 was the only sandforce drive that had notable issues. As far as I'm aware, that's been sorted with the latest firmware updates. I wouldn't worry about using a sandforce drive as long they frequently update the firmware as necessary.

    thanks for the replies, now i just need to decide between the ssd or a 3d tv, it depends on how cheap i can get the tv for.
