Ive been looking around for a new laptop but cant decide on what I really want. Ive posted in the help section but didnt get the response I wanted. Anyway I really like the clevo m570ru I'm just trying to compare prices and see where I can get it cheapest. It seems at hypersonic pc if I just get almost the barebones system with out all the high price options added on such as memory, hard drive, OS, and so on hypersonic pc seems to have a good deal. I just wanted your opinion on them and the system. I looked at the barebones on rjtech and if I get the stripped model and just add the cpu like on hypersonic rjtech is more expensive. Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    Dan

i was also looking the SR7, and you can get an amazing setup without ram or the hard drive for about 2000, and their shipping is quite cheap aswell(although on reseller ratings they have poor ratings due to shipping problems)

RJTech. They have free shipping for 3-day ground. It's barebones, no BS. I got mine with a 2.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 120GB 7200 RPM HDD, 802.11n, etc for $2099. Can't really beat that price. Basic build is around $1450.

Another thing to keep in mind is the degree of post-sale support you'll get from whomever you buy your system from. A system that is a bargain when you first buy it may not end up being very cheap if you get no post-sales support.

The resellers listed by Gophn seem to have a good reputation for post-sale support, although I cannot speak from direct experience. Hypersonic-pc appears to have had some problems in the past, although, again, I don't have direct experience and I don't know if they're still having the same problems that have been reported about them earlier.
