Now I know everyone is probably gettin sick of hearing everyone else post about them receiving their laptop. Lord knows I was, but mine has finally come in so BoooYaaa!

I originally ordered my 9261 back in November with 2x8700 in SLi. I was in Qatar when I placed the order hoping it would arrive before I was due to leave in Mid December. Well, as fate would have it, she arrived 2 days after I left to come back to the states. Now the military postal service was supposed to forward it to my address.....it seems that was too difficult for them and it showed back up at Xotic. Over 2 months of waiting and wondering where the hell it was....

Well the great folks at Xotic gave me a call to let me know they had my lappy and wanted to get my new address so they could ship it to me. By this time, the 8800 had come out, so of course I asked, believing I would get shot down, if they could change my order over to the new video cards. Amazingly enough, they said yes. All I had to do was pay the difference between the old config and new one. I was a very happy camper after that.

So this post is really about the great service, and patience Xotic has provided for me. The delay in getting the laptop was not their fault, that's on the miltary postal service. So thankyou Xotic.

Here are some 3D Mark scores fresh out of the box. The first thing I did was install mark06 and then run it.

SLI is not really even needed at the moment since most games dont even support them.

Is the score on Vista? Cause that is pretty low when laptop t9300 gets around 9200 in Vista, So urs should be way higher, right?

If you look at the first 3D Mark06 pic I posted, It says Vista Ultimate. So yes, I am running Vista on it. No other choice if you want to run 4gb of ram unfortunately.

Since he has the E6850 dual core, I guess the score is similar to the T9300.

Q6700 quad scores about 200 higher than Q6600 quad I think.

My programs files folder says (x86) so I think I have the x86 version. What's the difference? Is one 32 bit and the other 64 bit?

Yes, x86 core archetecture translates to a 32 bit processor.
