I just made the decision and ordered my 2090, or rather my PowerPro J 10:15.

    PowerPro J 10:15 SUPRA
    15.4" WXGA (1280 x 800) "Glossy" LCD w/PCI-e nVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT w/256MB (Shipping Mid-July)
    Intel® Core™2 Duo T7300 2.0GHz Processor w/4MB L2 On-die cache - 800MHz FSB
    Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
    1,024MB (1 SODIMM) DDR2/667 Memory
80GB SATA Hard Drive at 5,400 RPM
Combo Dual Layer SuperMulti DVDRW/CDRW Drive w/Softwares
    4-in-1 Memory Card Reader (MS/MSPRO/SD/MMC)
    Built-in Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965 802.11a/g/n
    Built-in Bluetooth Wireless 2.0+EDR
    Smart Li-ion Battery (6-Cell) - (WXGA & WXGA+ Screen Only)
    Windows Vista Premium - 32-Bit
Full Range Auto Switching AC Adapter
3 Year Warranty - Next Business Day Shipping - Lifetime 24/7 DOMESTIC Tech Support

Is what I decided on. I wasn't too worried about the HDD space or speed. And I didn't really care about whether I got teh 256 or 512 8600GT. I went with 1280x800 because of my current desktop monitor, which is 1680x1050 on a 22", and I checked some screens in store, didn't feel comfortable using that resolution on a smaller 15.4" monitor. I also went with Vista, because well at least I have it now. I have another XP Pro SP2 install I can use around here somewhere if I get tired of Vista, so yeah.

Now I've joined the waiting game with all of you guys.

Thanks for all your help Donald!

It could help to get another gig of RAM if I'm reading your specs correctly, as you only have one gig and Vista, which may be tricky.

Otherwise, congratulations! Welcome to the line. :D

I am getting another GB of RAM, but I am putting it myself :) Might buy a 2GB stick, either way it was just cheaper to add it myself :)

Thanks for the welcome to the wait :)

One thing I loved about the Sager is that the RAM was so easy to access with both being under the same small panel, so I'm probably (definitely) going to upgrade within the next two years, as 4GB becomes the new 2GB as it was the new 1GB. :D

Haha... the wait hasn't been bugging me that much surprisingly. I've just been trying to stay busy. It's just when I'm on these forums when it bothers me.

33 days? You really did pre-order it, and ended up getting the screen type that's on hold or whatever?

Did most people order from powernotebooks.com? That's what it seems like.

Yeah, I'd assume it would be about 50/50 but I'm mostly reading "powernotebooks.com"
