I was playing a video game the other day, and noticed the power jack got very loose and the power cord kept falling out. Then my notebook just died. No matter what I could not get it back on and the battery would not charge. Also it will not power off of battery. I assume my power jack needs to be replaced. Is this a DIY fix or do I have to send it it? Just trying to figure out how to get this fixed as fast as possible.

That usually will require it being sent in. You could try soldering it back in place if that is what failed. I would contact your reseller and talk about your options.

Yes, send it in unless you feel very confident with your soldering skills.

Thank you both for the reply. The machine was purchased from Xotic so I will start there.
