I am looking at the NP9850 at this config:
    QX9300 (yep im gonna overclock)
4GB or more of ram.... highest speed...
Dual GTX 280M's in SLI (gonna overclock)
    1x 250gb SSD Drive 2x 500GB 7200RPM or 3x 500GB 7200RPM
And to join the Narcissistic Bench Runners :p

What is the cheapest way to get this config.... I'm down with getting a cheap cpu and then upgrading to QX9300 (or QX9200 ES if I find it) with ebay or something. also if the ssd is gonna be $500 then I can go without lol... i heard they improve benches though... Can any1 give me a link to a cheap Mobile Quad Extreme? Also 1 more thing, How will this perform on GTA 4 1920x1080 Maxed out(-norestrictions)?

The cheapest QX9300 i could find is $400...

Yeah search ebay for cheap Qx9300. I think you can find one cheaper than 400$ occasionnally. Kaltmond has some skillz in finding these.

So yeah you config sounds pretty good. But a 250GB ssd is way too much. Get something like 80 GB where you put your OS and keep 2 500GBs 7200 rpm for storage (or 1 500 GB if you don't need that much, depends on you.)

And yeah I don't think there are any benches yet so you'll have to wait to see GTA IV performance. But with a QX9300 and dual GTX 280M you'll get a pretty good gaming machine lolz

nice get it. the only difference in thatcpu is just the clock speed and for overclock you be down .2 mhz which for the price isn't bad.

Lucky me, my birthday is on the 26th!!! I'm gonna ask for it and money lol...

I'm emailed Justin and asked him if I could buy one without the cpu ram and hdds with sli... He hasn't responded yet... I doubt he'll go without cpu but its a shot. I'm sure he'll send it without HDD's and Ram tho.

All I did was add SLi and a wifi card and that put me to $2,139... jeez Would be cheaper thru xotic pc if they let me go without cpu... Not sure if they will. They wouldn't on the 9280...

You're expecting them to sell it without making a profit?

Well I guess that's an ok price... lol but still thats a big profit. does xotic not make a profit or something because theirs is only $2400 with a Core 2 Duo Proc., 4GB of RAM, and an HDD (can't remember size) and rjtech is $2139 without a proc., ram, or hdd... just sli and wireless card...
