I had call when I placed my order and they said to make a note in the order for any upgrades you want when the release of the np5796 was final and they would call or email you. I hope I get the 9800gtx since I order mine with 8800gtx.....I can only hope.

This one costs $2,964.00 (95 bucks cheaper)

Heres what I wished it would look like:

17" WUXGA "Glare Type" Super Clear Ultra Bright Glossy Screen (1920x1200)
    - Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
    - Standard Dead Pixel Policy
    - ~Intel® X9100 45nm "Montevina" Core™2 Duo Extreme 3.06GHz w/6MB L2 On-die cache - 1066MHz FSB

    - ~ 4,096MB DDR3 1066MHz Dual Channel Memory (2 SODIMMS) (Requires Vista 64-Bit to recognize Full 4GB)
    - 2GB Intel® Robson Turbo Memory II
    - NP579x Orange Frame Trim Color
    - ~Combo 8x8x6x4x Dual Layer DVD +/-R/RW 5x DVD-RAM 24x CD-R/RW Drive w/Softwares
    - ~ 320GB 5400RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 8MB Cache)
    ~Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Installed (64&32-Bit CD Included) w/ Drivers & Utilities CD's

    This one costs $3,329.00

So the new ones are missing the 4gb promotion, but you start to see the price difference emerging.

Man I hope that 9800m GTX screams...

Jum, I'm not asking for the 9800m GTX at the same price....I'm asking for an upgrade price.

Give me some numbers to work with!

It should be $365 because the 9800m GT = 8800m GTX and to go from the 9800m GT to the 9800m GTX is $365.

You see how my order dropped 95 bucks in the previous posts? Thats ignoring any carry over from the 4gb promotion, if it even carries over.

PS its the long ass post
