    Hi all,

This will my first Clevo and I want you to give me some advices.
My idea is buying that thing:

    upload_2017-8-17_18-46-10.png

    - I7 7700k - Delided for optimal thermal values, now with Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal and high temperature seal.
    - GTX1070
    - 75Hz IPS GSYNC
    - 8x2 DDR4 HyperX Impact RAM

99% of usage for this laptop will be gaming. I also want it to have thunderbolt 3, who knows if tomorrow I will need to attach an external GPU
I don't need storage, already own SSDs and HDDs.

What do you think? Should I wait untill Coffee Lake announcement or its this i7/GTX1070 combo enough futureproof?
I'm asking about waiting or not because I dont know how many time takes usually for clevo resellers to have ready a new CPU architecture.

    Thanks in advance.

There is usually very little delay between Intel's release and OEMs selling systems with the new hardware. The 7700K is a fine CPU, though. Most of your gaming will hinge on the GPU; Coffee Lake might not be worth the wait (unless waiting really does not matter to you).

    Your configuration is fine IMO
Mobile CL (U Series) should be released in the next weeks but Desktop CL or HQ CL could be released at the end of this year

Do not expect new CPUs before the year ends.
Thank you for considering us :)
    That's a fine setup ;)

Awesome setup, definitely a good choice going with @John@OBSIDIAN-PC

He's given me good support without being a customer, can't imagine how good of customer service he'd give someone who does purchase from him

It's a nice setup with strong CPU performance and high end graphics capable of 1440p 60hz and 1080p 120hz gaming at high quality.

If you can then get 6700K instead of 7700K, the CPU's are pretty much the same in terms of performance but the 6700K runs much cooler.
