    Yo!

    I've got following spec

    HD7970M, i7 3610QM, 8GB 1600mhz, 128GB SSD.

As Ive read around a bit in forum I felt like there might be stuffs to make the laptop more up-to-date and more stable. Also have read something about HD7970M being unstable, dunno if they have fixed that or not.

    So what's worth doing?

    New bios? New modded bios?

    Flash GPU?? Best GPU-driver?

Any other things I should get done?

Updates, I suppose. Driver updates mainly. Make sure you have it on a surface where it can breath, also (e.g., don't obstruct the vents, whether it be from the surface it's on or from lack of cleaning it).

Not unless you're aiming to accomplish something specifically. Users usually only will flash or mod a BIOS or vBIOS to unlock something, not as a "fix".

Same as above on the flash; leave the vBIOS alone unless you are trying to unlock voltage or something. Best driver would probably be the latest 13.1 WHQL, although you're welcome to try the latest 13.3 BETA as well.

You can do cooling mods since it's a Sager and not void your warranty, but chances are the system will run fine as long as you take care of it. :) Otherwise there are no special tricks to owning and operating a laptop. There are a lot of neat enthusiast things to do, but it's best you understand and are prepared for what you're getting yourself into before you do them, as some could brick your investment.

    Enjoy the laptop!
