    A patched system looks like     this.

    This affects all Systems sold since late 2015 and as Clevo is not going to patch EOL models themselves, we have decided to upload a simple tool on the     team blog !

    Select 'Maintenance" > "Firmware Updates" > "Management Engine" > 11.x

    Though we have successfully tested the update on multiple systems without side-effects, we can not guarantee it's functionality on all affected Clevo models and strongly advise not to use it on systems from other manufacturer.

    I'd have flashed it in a second if it wasn't warned by Prema, on my Alienware. I have to wait until Jan/Feb 2k18. :( :nah: :vbconfused:
    At least Prem extended his support on Clevos which are EOL. Finally I am happy to see your site.

    On windows 7 all ok, system up and running (from 7hrs), installed also the new nvidia driver 388.43.

    Subscription is only to be informed via a single mail when the 'Prema Mod' Website (the one when you click my signature) launches.
    They are two different Sites for two different aspects of the project. ;)


    Yes and yes.

    The patch is also working on current models like the PxxxTM series, not just EOL systems. And believe me, you better wanna be patched within the next week if you are planing on taking the system online...

    I am sure you were not aware, but one of those third party links you posted is infecting the users system with a bitcoin miner.
    Whoever clicked on that link (Edit: before he removed it) and wasn't protected, better install a Virus scanner right away. After all we are trying to achieve the very opposite and protect user with this thread. :rolleyes:

    That result looks like a false positive.
    v11.0 version is definitely not patched and not matching the reported v3 security version...
    If you ran the updater make sure to reboot/power cycle the system in order to show the correct revision.
    If not, run it!

    I'm really glad PRema took the time to do this for us, as I am pretty sure that most motherboards out there won't receive a fix for this as quick and easy.

    In fact, I am really scared of building a desktop PC now, because PRema spoiled us with awesome features and support, and Clevo laptops just feel better somehow

    I am happy that it runs so well for everyone! Was a little hesitant to push it to a wide audience, but in the end the pros outweight the cons...
    We spent about a week testing it on all kinds of configurations and many different Clevo boards from the past 3 years, but can't test it on everything ourselves.

    That is not an INF-only driver though. What does Device Manager show for the driver version and release date after you install it? The versions almost never match for some reason. The ME driver package almost always has a newer number and release date than the actual ME drivers themselves.
