    Hi

I live in Ireland, so not sure how American law works on complaints against a company.

About a month ago, my AC Adaptor broke, and I have reported it to them several times. I tried calling them, with no luck. I have reported a DMA at them, no response. I've sent them an email, but no luck.

Now where do i complain about them? I know i have the one year warrenty on it, so I guess they just dont want to live up to their promises.

    Anybody that can assist?

Sorry you have had the problems.

I do not recommend ISTNC anymore.

if you want to report them, the Better Business Bureau is the one of the best ways for a consumer to get their complaints across.

In the mean time, you can get a replacement power adapter from another Clevo vendor (many all over the world... a good number near you in the UK):

    Thanks Gophn.
It seems like ISTNC has stopped all selling of laptops. But ofcourse they would still need to replace my ac adaptor.
I've contacted goldenstar so far, and they have the adaptor in UK. Price for adaptor and freight to Dublin is £120
And yeah. I'm going to buy one, but ofcourse i would like my part replaced as guarentee covers it.

I'll check out the link. Thanks again Gophn.

I've just searched their database on the BBB. It doesnt exist in their database.
Does this mean that the company is closed? Or possibly only doing in Fraud?

I've checked all 3 resellers of Clevo.
Novatech and Rock doesnt sell the AC Adaptor stand alone.
The third company doesnt even have a support page.

You need to contact them personally if they could sell you the adapter.

The lack of an entry in the BBB database isn't conclusive one way or the other because the BBB is largely a voluntary organization.

However, I do think that you have every reason to be suspicious of ISTNC - about a year ago they did what appears to have been an attempt to play hard-to-find; the owner started up a new company, called Carolina Computing & Technology Solutions, LLC, that seems to have picked up where ISTNC left off (incidentally, the domain name www.istnc.com now leads to a webpage for CC&TS, LLC, so they didn't do a very good job of cleaning up after themselves).

Were I you, I would attempt to contact CC&TS, LLC via the contact details listed on the website, and if you get no response, then you should contact the North Carolina Attorney General's office of consumer protection here: http://www.ncdoj.com/consumerprotection/cp_about.jsp
