I just cant belive they do not share their client.
It will be my first and last laptop. I guess ill go back with building my own desktop like im used to do...

I believe he means that he wants his laptop next week like it was promised ( John was my sales rep as well, until i called because hes still drinking margaritas). John has been great though, except for this holiday vacation he has been very helpful and patient with me. But as I was promised my m571ru next week and paid extra for this, I had to call to make this happen as I have to start classes soon and have to have a lappy for school.

I orderd mine about 3 weeks ago. before they offered in on their webpage. But its no biggie, especialy for the price im getting it for $1776 (gotta love that USD toCAN conversion rate). Anyway I would still buy from Eurocom just for price alone, but we will see how they are with support if I have any issues.

Just got my laptop! yay! im doing a memtest with my 2x2gig of ram... i took some picture i will probably post them this weekend... the only thing i can say for now... yes this laptop make a lot of noise... but i saw worst... and the color is very nice... its like an acer... but better

Where are they based, Canada or US? And if they are based in Canada, does that mean higher prices due to crossing the border (royalty fees or the type)?

The Sager NP5792 is now offering several of the Penryn processors. -
Lower on power - correct and that's quite significant in notebooks. Having a more power efficient cpu translates to lower core temperatures at stock which lead to overall lower system temps.
Since everything is packed so tightly in a notebook, you can see how that can affect GPU temps and vice versa. So if the cpu is cooler, the GPU is more likely to be cooler also which leads to better overall stability, higher achievable gpu clocks, longer system life - of course all that depends on how the cooling system is designed but I'm just speaking in general terms.
But hell you have a kicka$$ system penryn or no penryn.

yeah this time ill get a perfect laptop... i asked for the big test of everything... this time...
and for the penryn... i dont know... sure the processor take less power and do less heat... but theres no real speed gain...
-send back the laptop
-pay 100$ for a new processor that isnt faster
-have it back 2-3week later
its up to you... but ill just undervolt the proco... and for having using it for 4hour yesterday... it wasnt hot... but yes its damn noisy... its like my old geforce 5x00 series
i still have to test the battery life at full charge...
